Support for members impacted by COVID-19

First Choice Credit Union recognises the uncertainty we all face as the nation responds to the challenges posed by the coronavirus. Australia has a strong and stable financial system and economy, and we recognise the important role we play to support our members, our staff, our suppliers and the economy. We are continuing to assess the impact on our operations on a daily basis.

Our first priority remains the safety and wellbeing of our members and staff. We are taking a proactive approach and implementing practical measures in-line with the latest guidance from Federal and State authorities.

We are offering various options to our members to meet their banking needs during this period:

Orange Office and Agencies

As an essential service, our Orange Office will remain open while it is safe to do so. We have alternate options and plans we can rely on in the case we are required to close.

We are also in contact with our agencies in Canowindra and Manildra and they are currently operating as normal.  Any changes to these agencies will be relayed to our members by electronic means (website, email and social media).

 

Whilst we are doing everything we can to keep our office open and safe for staff and customers, we ask that members utilise the following services where possible.

Internet Banking and First Choice Banking App
Members can access their accounts 24 hours a day through Internet Banking at firstchoicecu.com.au or using the First Choice Credit Union App.  If you need help setting up or accessing these services, please contact our office on (02) 6362 2944.

ATMs

Visa Debit Card holders may access all ATMs in Australia, with no direct charge fees for using any of the major banks ATMs.  As a Visa card, our cards can also be used in most stores, in person or online.

Telephone and Phone Banking
You can also access your accounts using phone banking or talk to one of our friendly staff members by calling (02) 6362 2944.

Loans
We will continue to process home loan and person loan applications quickly and efficiently.

We are always here to help and we encourage any members who may be facing hardship due to impacts of the virus to contact us so that we can provide them with assistance.
